Cat & Belle Sarongs : Stunning Sarong!

I had been looking for a good quality sarong for a while and lots seem to have patterns, and i’m not a pattern girl so was drawn to the lovely plain but vibrant turqoise colour. It arrived quickly and packaging was great. I was impressed how soft the cotton is, even without first washing. It ‘feels’ like quality cotton and thats better in the heat than polyester. The colour was as described, bright without being ott. Love the fact that it’s fair trade which makes me feel better as a consumer. I am short at 5’3 but it’s large enough for someone luckily taller. Can’t wait to use on holiday.

Very pleased with this cover up. I’ve found it a little difficult to find non-patterned cover ups (all my swimwear is patterned in one way or another) that didn’t feel cheap or scratchy in the heat, but this is wonderfully soft and cool. It’s just the right thickness – not too thick and not too sheer – and the colour is gorgeous. I’m 5′ 6” (ish) and it’s makes a good maxi skirt when wrapped around the waist, although it is just as good as a scarf/blanket to cover my back and arms. May have to purchase in other colours.

The sarong arrived quickly and well packaged. Stunning colour, i got hot pink but was a difficult decision as they all look lovely. May have to buy the others now.Lovely material, superb quality. Recommend this sarong/scarf . Here are the specifications for the Cat & Belle Sarongs:

And really good quality for the price. And really good quality for the price. I’m off on holiday next week, and it’s even better than i’d hoped, so it definitely going in the suitcase.It has a really *soft*, fresh, cotton feel – that’s also very floaty. It has just the right amount of sheerness, so it has a slinky feel, but with enough coverage for draping over your bikini/swimsuit for example. The fabric feels nice a breathable as well, so will be nice and cool and fresh in a really hot climate. I bought the pink one – the colour in the picture is a good representation. It’s a great colour and i think i’ll be wearing mine as a scarf to just give a lovely pop of colour for the evening. I think the 100% cotton is the killer factor. It’s really nice quality, especially for the price, and the fact it’s fairtrade is really nice too. I did quite a bit of research before buying this and am really happy with my purchase. All arrived quickly in simple but good packaging.

This one feels cool against skin and has enough density of fabric to shield from the sun, while still being sheer enough to feel very floaty and summery, as well as scrunching up perfectly to make a drapey and non-bulky scarf. I’m 5’8″ and wrapped around waist it makes perfect ankle grazing maxi (if you were shorter you could roll it over at waist and because fabric is soft it. Wouldn’t add thickness, no-one needs that). It is big enough to fully cover across my back and down to wrists which is great for sun protection. Pretty colour too, a classy kind of turquoise.
